Therapy

A Bit About Therapy - according to the American Psychological Association, “Psychologists help people of all ages live happier, healthier and more productive lives.” Regardless of your history or why you were referred, psychotherapy is successful when you achieve the goal you have set out for yourself. Perhaps you are seeking relief from constant worries, stress, anxiety, and low mood. Or maybe you wish to break a cycle of unhealthy habits and unsuccessful relationships, or return to work following a traumatic event. We want to help you make the changes you feel you haven't been able to make on your own and start living a more satisfying life.

At Psychlane we work with young people and adults experiencing a variety of difficulties using an integrative approach that includes cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT),  schema therapy, and mindfulness techniques. We offer therapeutic services for a range of mental health concerns, including:

•    Anxiety disorders - worries, generalised anxiety, phobias, panic, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder

•    Identity concerns, building confidence and self-worth, and development and achievement of life goals
